ABOUT US
Yes, you read that correctly, “Nic without a k” has been around horses his entire life (over 30 years!). Nic grew up on his father’s ranch feeding, watering, fixing fences and guiding trail rides. Through the years Nic gained an extensive knowledge on the ins and outs of a boarding facility and uses many of those skills to run MNC Farm. On the rare occasion Nic isn’t out working on the farm, he enjoys hunting, fishing and camping.
Marie grew up showing horses giving her years of experience in riding and training in multiple disciplines. Marie graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which she uses to teach students and train horses. Marie’s extensive knowledge and passion for horses, along with multiple years’ experience in agricultural event management, make her an invaluable member of the MNC Farm team. Marie is a lesson instructor and head trainer at MNC. Marie is currently working towards her goal of obtaining her Women’s Professional Rodeo Association card and competing on the national professional rodeo circuit in barrel racing. When she isn’t training horses or competing at a barrel race, Marie enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.
